Bill covering horse-breeding services for Mount Vernon [manuscript], 1794.

Bill, 1794 July 20th, Mr. Cary Seldon [sic] to George Washington, President of the United States, covering horse-breeding services for his Mount Vernon estate, written and signed by William Pearce, overseer; on which is written a signed letter, from near Fredericksburg, Va., probably in the spring of 1862. The document was taken from a Virginia home by a Wisconsin soldier in the Union Army, Chas. W. (?) Farrand, who styled himself, "A Rambling Soldier."
